Do not use your text editor for tasks other than editing text

Well… this is kind of exciting news from me. A friend of mine just emailed me to let me know that my site got listed on www.smashingmagazine.com for a post about textures. Obviously I use a custom texture in the background of my site that I made in photoshop. I realize that there are 50 other website in the post, but heck. If I am in the top 50 websites that use textures… that’s a good deal. I have gotten into a few css galleries here and there… but Smashing Magazine seems a little higher caliber (ok, maybe it’s not… heck, I don’t know). All I do know is this: I am excited about it. What a great thing to go to bed too. And in a world where everything seems to be going south fast, this is good news to me. Head on over and check out the post.
